When you ask Brandon Renault where he finds the most joy in his work, he’ll tell you that his favourite moment is the “ah-ha” expression on a client’s face when everything clicks. That moment when all the pieces fall into place and they get excited because they can see a clear path to a brighter future.

That satisfaction comes from an innate need to help those around him. Brandon strives to help others in every aspect of his life. He’s a devoted husband and father of three, he volunteers as a local firefighter, he’s an active member of his community, and he finds innovative ways to build value for each and every one of his clients.

Brandon says, “The basis of everything I do is connecting and building strong relationships. Those connections leave me with a deep understanding of my client as an individual. I learn what they are most fearful of, their greatest aspirations, their hopes, and the passion that lights a fire within them. This allows me to tailor a solution to their specific needs and help them take steps to live the life they dream of today.”

Following in the footsteps of his father, Stephen Renault (author of Mid-Life Crisis Retirement), as a leader in the industry, Brandon holds dual licenses in both Private Equity as an Exempt Market Dealing Representative with Liahona Capital Inc. and Life Insurance as an insurance agent with Liahona Insurance & Wealth Creation Inc.

Brandon’s dedication to his community and clients shines through in everything he does, and it is that passionate care that generates results. As Brandon says, “I believe my purpose is to educate clients about some of the alternative options that are available to them, the options that other advisers seem to be missing. Then I formulate a plan to fulfill their needs by looking at alternative asset classes. At the end of the day, my client’s success is my success, and there’s nothing better than seeing them reach heights they’ve never dreamed of.”

Brandon has also been fortunate to serve on the Dealing Representative’s committee for the Private Capital Markets Association of Canada since 2019. He’s thankful to play a part in helping to shape the way dealing representatives in Canada do business within the industry.
